Immersione Records unveils their latest installment in the VA series with the highly anticipated release, Goblin [IMS 003], named after the legendary shark of the abyss. This compilation takes listeners on a captivating journey, delving into the realms of jungle, dub, techno and breakbeat, which are at the core of Immersione's sonic exploration.
The lineup for Goblin has been meticulously curated, featuring a diverse blend of established and emerging artists from the underground scene: one of the standout tracks on the compilation is a unique collaboration called FCLNMCM , a joint project by Computer Numerical Control and FLMM; Rafal S injects the EP with infectious funk-infused grooves, immersing us in a soulful sonic experience, while L.A. Squad takes the stage as the resident crew of the label with the recording of a squad’s itself afternoon snack. Hailing from Bologna, Kappasaur fearlessly explores the depths of sonic experimentation, pushing the limits and venturing into uncharted territories of bass-driven sounds, then Helsmoortel, our favorite Belgian producer, enchants us with his mesmerizing and boundary-pushing electronic compositions and, on the other hand, DJ Loui From Jupiter 4 leads us on a captivating journey through the realms of mutant-stomping Techno and ethereal drones, defying conventional genres. Emerging from Taranto and now residing in Bologna, Cristian KRV showcases his style and perspective and lastly, Contraddizione, computer scientist, composer, and producer, ventures into the unexplored realms of electronic music production, pushing the boundaries of experimentation.
